Application Process:
In order to set up an offshore company in Belize, the applicant is required to submit the following documents:

For Each Director , Shareholder & Ultimate Beneficial Owner
  • Notarized / Certified True Copy of Passport
  • Notarized / Certified True Copy of Bank Statement
  • Notarized / Certified True Copy of Proof of Address (must be issued within last 3 months)
  • Bank Reference Letter (must be issued within last 3 months)


If there are Corporate shareholders, the following documents must be provided:
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum of Association
  • Articles of Association
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Register of Directors & Shareholding
  • Certificate of Good Standing
The proposed names of the company in the order of preference. A name check will be conducted to ascertain if it is unique. Any name similar to those of existing companies, which in the Registrar’s opinion may lead to confusion will be rejected.
The registered office of the company must be located in Belize, usually at the address of a licensed management company.
The Memorandum and Article of Association (M&A) of your company shall be prepared and submitted to the Registrar alongside the formation fee.
Upon approval, the Registrar will issue a Certificate of Incorporation, together with the unique registration number.
Expected Time Frame:
Once you have submitted all the necessary documents, the company formation will take approximately just 3 days.
